Sugarland Barn Weddings

Sugarland is a wedding ceremony and reception venue in Arena, Wisconsin, that offers couples the option to reserve the entire property for their wedding weekend. This unique garden estate is over 150 years old and is a state-approved facility, meeting all of Wisconsin’s construction and public safety requirements. The main house is a fully-restored 1850s colonial revival farmhouse, decorated with antiques, that’s perfect for any couple looking to add a bit of history to their big day.

Facilities and Capacity

Sugarland can accommodate up to 300 guests throughout their two event spaces — one indoor and one uncovered outdoor. The Wedding Oak Tree is over 150 years old and stands at the center of the estate. The branches of this tree provide ample shade for your guests while they watch you exchange vows beneath a majestic canopy. The 400-square foot Barn is Sugarland’s indoor location with an open-air feel. Perfect for couples who want a rustic style wedding, the Barn has grand sliding doors, a breathtaking view of the Wisconsin countryside, a custom bar made from barn floor planks, and custom wrought iron chandeliers with dimmers to make your wedding even more romantic. It also has some modern amenities, like a licensed commercial kitchen and air-conditioned bathrooms.

The farm house and the cottage on Sugarland’s property can accommodate up to 18 guests comfortably, creating a perfect space for the couple and their wedding party to stay and get ready.

Services Offered

Sugarland can provide couples with space for bridal showers, ceremonies, engagement parties, and receptions. Chairs and linens are available for use during your event, and the staff at Sugarland is happy to provide you with services that include accommodations, cake, event planning, and event rentals. Sugarland’s wedding coordinator, Nancy, and her team are there to help you every step of the way — from day one ‘til the minute you say “I do.” Set-up, take down, and clean-up are available, as well, so you won’t need to overstress about whether or not the decorations will look nice or who will handle them once the reception’s over.
