This property was constructed on the shores of North America’s deepest fjord and offers breathtaking vistas wherever you look. Facilities and Capacity

Surrounded by a magical mountain range and ancient glaciers, the venue provides a range of indoor and outdoor event spaces that pay homage to its mythical backdrop. The oceanfront and luscious woodland canopy are ideal for those dreaming of a summertime ceremony immersed in nature. These quaint and picturesque settings can be configured in a variety of ways and make for incredible photo opportunities that will be treasured for a lifetime. Tranquil cocktail hours can also take place outside next to the large boulder firepit. Furnished with Adirondack chairs and handmade picnic tables, guests can relax, rejoice, and admire the magnificent vistas. An expansive barn with traditional sliding doors can be used for indoor ceremonies and receptions that rub long into the night. This 2000 square foot barn can be decorated and arranged in several ways to create the dream wedding you’ve always envisioned. All event areas can host celebrations between 50-75 people.

Services Offered

The friendly staff at Viking Cove will be on-hand throughout your planning process to help however they can. Upon your arrival, they will assist with the event setup and breakdown at the end of the celebration. You can also be provided with an extensive list of reliable vendors who have previously served events at the cove. This can include caterers, bar services, entertainers, photographers, officiants, florists, transporters, and more. Custom wedding decor featuring pieces inspired by The Last Frontier may also be rented.

Accommodations

There is a range of five cozy guest rooms on-site that can sleep up to 20 guests. The Chinook is a two-bedroom ground floor apartment with a private decking area. Moments away from the firepit and boasting impressive views of the woods and mountains, the Chinook has proved a popular choice in the past. Couples and guests will find a pathway to a meadow and the cove’s beach. Ideal for newlyweds, the Crow is a luxurious cabin surrounded by a patio area and woodland. Couples will discover comfortable bedding, a large walk-in shower, and an adjoining sauna for ultimate relaxation.

Ceremony Only

There is a wonderful "ceremony only" option for couples to share vows with a lovely selection of ceremonial settings on property. Perfect for smaller wedding parties, Viking Cove offers full or half day options. There is also an ala carte menu that has many choices including among many, a welcome reception, and rooms for wedding party preparation.
