We had a Halloween themed party. The staff made the event so much fun! We loved it!!

We were absolutely thrilled with the wedding process and how are wedding turned out with Hangar One. The communication was outstanding and the event was absolutely perfect. I would definitely recommend this unique venue!

My new husband and I just got married at Hangar 1, and we can't say enough good things.

The venue's rustic industrial style was absolutely perfect for us, and the airplane paraphernalia in the Runway Bar was a fantastic reference to our familes' history as air force pilots and engineers. We even took it a step further and chose to create our own drink menu, using blueprints of the planes our family members have flown/worked on as a background.

Both Emily with Hangar 1 and Jenn with Runway Spirits were very responsive. They generally responded to emails within a day(often within minutes-hours), and they let us know in advance if their availability would be limited due to time off or illness. If we needed to meet in person with either of them to check something about the layout of the venue or have a more in-depth conversation, they were generally able to meet with us withing a few days.

Emily recommended some great vendors, helped us design the layout for our ceremony and reception spaces, met with me and our florist on-site to help us come us with a design that worked with the space, and even did all the coordinating with all of our vendors to create a full day of schedule for us.

Day of, she was indispensable. While my wedding party was offsite getting ready, she made sure everything else was going according to schedule at the venue. When our florist forgot some of our personals, and we weren't sure if she was going to be back with them in time, Emily found some flowers left over from a previous event and made some back up boutonnieres just in case -- the florist wound up making it, but I still kept and pressed one of Emily's to remember her amazing effort.

Once we arrived at the venue, I was quite stressed from trying to keep our wedding party on schedule, and she and everyone else at Hangar 1 put my mind at ease. They took over keeping track of everyone and keeping everything on schedule, even when we had to move the guests' welcoming drinks inside at the last second due to bad weather.

Jenn, the bar manager, was also incredibly helpful. She recommended some delicious wines, and she worked hard to get us access to local craft brews we love. She checked through our favorite breweries to see what she could potentially get access to and was able to get a new contract done with one of them in time for the wedding. She also had us try other beers we weren't as familiar with as they got access to them, so we wound up having a great selection for all the beer lovers on our guestlist.

For our signature cocktail we could use one from the menu of the Runway Bar(all of which are delicious) or create our own. We chose to use their Ode to Rosé, which was loved by everyone.

On top of all that perfection, you couldn't ask for a better price -- especially in the bay area.

So in summary... if you're looking for a unique venue, with friendly people who really care about what you want for your wedding, even if it's not "how things are normally done," with great prices and delicious drinks, you need to check out Hangar 1.
