About

Stabin Museum is a wedding venue located in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, just an hour away from Scranton. The museum's collection consists of Victor Stabin's multifaceted artwork and that of his students, resulting in an eclectic backdrop for special celebrations.

Facilities and Capacity

Stabin Museum features red brick and stone facades, alluding to the venue's storied history. Once a factory for braided steel cable and toy manufacturing, the building is home to a visually fascinating museum. Victor Stabin renovated the building's 16,000 square feet in 2003, creating a set of galleries tailored to his one-of-a-kind artistic vision. Aesthetically pleasing, heartfelt ceremonies and receptions can be hosted within the museum's memorable galleries. The venue is also home to Cafe Arielle, a distinctive dining area beside the Avant-Garden, a lush open-air even space situated at the base of a mountain. Here, a live band can play jazz, Texas swing, classical, or any other musical genre as you and your loved ones enjoy celebratory cocktails and hors d'oeuvres together. In this inspired setting, inside or out, you can host a magical wedding that's sure to be unforgettable.

Services Offered

Stabin Museum happily works with to-be-weds from all walks of life to bring bespoke visions to life. The culinary team that runs Cafe Arielle specializes in simple, compelling menu selections, and they can prepare delightful dishes for your big day. If you like to admire inspiring, engaging paintings or are simply envisioning an avant-garde aesthetic for your milestone event, this venue is sure to meet your needs.
