We were supposed to get married in April with a big wedding at the botanical gardens in Key West. When the pandemic hit, we changed plans and opted for a smaller, immediate-family ceremony. Argo Navis was the perfect choice, and having the boat all to ourselves made us feel so special. Being a Covid bride was stressful, but sailing out at sunset was a magical experience- and the day exceeded my dreams. The crew was professional and extremely accommodating, but most of all they made us feel safe. In this new era we're in, I cannot say enough how reassuring it was to enjoy an important milestone and let loose, while feeling both secure and private on the boat. Forever thanks to the Argo Navis for creating those memories! -

Captain Emyl has been with Argo Navis from the very beginning of her days. Originally from South Africa, Emyl has made Key West home. He and his wife Martha were the first couple to be wed on board! Emyl understands the love and excitement that surrounds the wedding day and works with every couple to make their day special.
Jill and Captain Sean are the management team who help plan the special events and charters aboard the SV Argo Navis and direct the crew to create memories that last a lifetime.
While Sean is a licensed Captain and officiant, he is also a seasoned event coordinator and with Jill, operates the Key West Farmers Market, the Seafood Festival and Artisan Markets, among others. Jill has owned and operated a special event management firm for over 25 years, 12 in Key West, and brings that experience and dedication to every wedding, reception, engagement celebration and vow renewal hosted on the 75' luxuray catamaran.

Schooner Hindu is a great place for a small ceremony. Holding up to 38 people it has ample room to move around. As a photographer it creates an old nostalgic feeling, that shows in light contrasted photos. It helps you put a vintage feel, but with sophistication. The crew and captain definitely love what they do, and it shows. I would highly recommend the Hindu for the creative, natural, and unique couples who want something truly special.
