Henderson Beach State Park

Henderson Beach State Park is a breathtaking wedding venue located in Destin, Florida. This venue offers couples the chance to walk down the aisle on a pristine white sand beach, with glistening emerald water softly crashing in the background. Henderson Beach State Park consists of over 200 acres of vibrant coastal wildlife, and has over 6,000 feet of stunning shoreline. This lush park and its rolling dunes are the host for an abundance of local flora and fauna. Sand pines, scrub oaks, southern magnolias, and evergreens with fragrant rosemary add a touch of green to the wondrous landscape.

Facilities and Capacity

Henderson Beach State Park can host sizable gatherings of up to 250 guests. Couples can choose to host their ceremony on the sparkling white sands, or under a covered pavillion overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The park and its grounds are avaliable to be explored by the newlyweds, so they can snap a few memorable wedding photos surrounded by nature.

The Ceremony fee covers the State Park Entry Fee for all guests and vendors, Parking, Beach Ceremony Permit, Map Event Cards and your Reserved Area on Beach with Private Event Signage.

After Hours Reception

After Hours Reception Fee | $1995.00

Henderson Beach State Park is open to the public from 8:00am to sunset daily. The After Hours reception starts at 12pm and all guests/vendors must be out of the park by 10pm. Private event staff is required for all after hour events since the park closes at sunset daily to the general public. Alcohol may not be served or consumed until 6:00pm or sunset (whichever comes first), and must remain in the pavilion until sunset. The After Hours Reception fee includes the pavilion rental for your reception, ten (10) tables with attached seating for up to 80 guests, commercial bistro lights, grill covers, security and event staff. It is required to have a registered wedding coordinator to assist and oversee your wedding to ensure you have an amazing experience at Henderson Beach State Park.

Henderson Beach State Park is situated in the heart of Destin, Florida, only 30 minutes away from Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport. Spa's, salons, shopping and dining are just a short walk or drive away.
